Platform Architecture & Overview

High-level design of the Project Management Platform combining Knowledge Docs and Real-Time Execution.

Overview

# Project Management Platform Architecture & Overview Welcome to the **Project Management Platform** — an enterprise-grade, real-time project management and organizational intelligence platform.

Unified Knowledge & Execution

Project Management Platform bridges the gap between durable documentation and agile execution: 1. **Knowledge Layer (`/app/docs`)**: Spaces, hierarchical documentation, RFCs, and accessible SVG diagrams. 2. **Execution Layer (`/app/teams`)**: Projects, task DAGs, portfolio roadmaps, team assignment, and blockers. 3. **Collaboration & Media**: WebSockets real-time channels, direct messages, and synced music rooms. 4. **Developer Intelligence**: Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, Strawberry GraphQL engine, GitHub PR sync, and WhatsApp bot. ```xml <svg xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" viewBox="0 0 960 360" role="img" aria-label="Project Management Platform Architecture" style="background:#0f172a; border-radius:12px; font-family:var(--font-sans, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, Segoe UI, Roboto, sans-serif);"><style>.title { font-size:18px; font-weight:700; fill:#f8fafc; font-family:Instrument Serif, Georgia, serif; }.node-box { rx:8px; stroke-width:1.5px; }.node-focal { fill:#1e293b; stroke:#3b82f6; }.node-client { fill:#1e293b; stroke:#10b981; }.node-storage { fill:#1e293b; stroke:#8b5cf6; }.node-title { font-size:13px; font-weight:600; fill:#f1f5f9; }.node-sub { font-size:11px; fill:#94a3b8; font-family:monospace; }.edge { stroke:#475569; stroke-width:2px; stroke-dasharray:4; }</style><text x="32" y="44" class="title">Project Management Platform Architecture</text><line x1="260" y1="185" x2="300" y2="185" class="edge"/><polygon points="300,185 294,181 294,189" fill="#64748b"/><line x1="480" y1="185" x2="520" y2="185" class="edge"/><polygon points="520,185 514,181 514,189" fill="#64748b"/><line x1="700" y1="185" x2="740" y2="185" class="edge"/><polygon points="740,185 734,181 734,189" fill="#64748b"/><g transform="translate(80, 140)"><rect width="180" height="90" class="node-box node-client"/><text x="16" y="38" class="node-title">Next.js Web App</text><text x="16" y="62" class="node-sub">React 15 · TypeScript</text></g><g transform="translate(300, 140)"><rect width="180" height="90" class="node-box node-focal"/><text x="16" y="38" class="node-title">FastAPI Core</text><text x="16" y="62" class="node-sub">Python 3.12 · GraphQL</text></g><g transform="translate(520, 140)"><rect width="180" height="90" class="node-box node-focal"/><text x="16" y="38" class="node-title">MCP Server</text><text x="16" y="62" class="node-sub">JSON-RPC 2.0 · AI Tools</text></g><g transform="translate(740, 140)"><rect width="180" height="90" class="node-box node-storage"/><text x="16" y="38" class="node-title">PostgreSQL &amp; Redis</text><text x="16" y="62" class="node-sub">AsyncPG · PubSub</text></g></svg> ```
